Dr. Sharlow is a general surgeon board certified by the American College of Surgeons. He also has the honor of being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), elected in 1993 by a committee of his peers and colleagues.
He maintains active membership status in the American Medical Association, American Society of Breast Surgeons, American Hernia Society, Missouri State Medical Association, American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons, and Southwestern Surgical Congress.
He is certified in laser safety and has completed training in advanced laser techniques.
